Inspired by rock climbers’ “dirt bag” lifestyle and the desire to suss out what direction I wanted to move in life, I purchased a Ram Promaster van in early 2019. Over the next couple of months, I designed and built the van out with my dad, and then headed out on the road with my sister for six months. During that time I kept a notebook regarding the van build, and my sister and I detailed our adventures over social media.
When I bought the van it was just an empty shell. Being an engineer, and my love for working with my hands, I designed and upfitted the van with my dad in 3 months in early 2019. My sister and I spent about 6 months living out of the van and traveling all over the United States and Canada. We visited friends, hiked through national parks, sang songs, and slept in Walmart parking lots. You can catch more details on our time together through our Instagram @brosis____ below.
